# help! why is the lower part of my cactus this lighter color all of a…

help! why is the lower part of my cactus this lighter color all of a sudden? it’s not soft at all and I don’t think it could possibly be overwatered…. it sits in a window sill but I don’t let the temp drop below 65 at night. any help is really appreciated!!

I honestly think it looks very happy and healthy! If it spreads then there might be a problem.

never propped OR grafted a cactus before but it doesn’t hurt to try I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️
