# Hi! Me and my roommate spotted a flower bud on her indoor cactus and…

Hi! Me and my roommate spotted a flower bud on her indoor cactus and we are so excited to see it bloom! I also have an indoor blue columnar cactus and was wondering if it will ever develop flowers. I tried googling and it says that the cactus does flower, however I’m not sure if they were just referring to outdoor grown blue columnar cacti. Thanks for the help!🌵

I have a blue columnar cactus inside and it has flowered one time in the 5-6 years I’ve had it.
