I'm starting to get obsessed with cacti does anyone have any suggestions for easy, flowering, cacti?

Have you looked into any of the holiday cactuses?

Holiday cacti are really nice. Because they're tropical, thier care is similar to non-succulent plants. As for desert species, I've found barrel-type cacti tend to do well

A prickly pear is good too they are hardy where I live and they bloom every spring

I have a lot of luck with getting mammillaria cacti to flower every year. I stop watering around the first day of winter and don’t water again until the first day of spring.

Mammillaria are easy to get to flower as long as the proper light is provided

Ah yes prickly pears are great. They grow everywhere and I mean everywhere where i live and they get these lovely yellow flowers that turn into fruit! There are also two other species that flower and fruit but i don't know what they are called. One gives lovely magenta flowers and the other one serves up bright red flowers.
