Hi guys! I was just wondering if any one had any experience with cylindrical snake plants. I have had this plant for about 2 years and the largest pup is probably around 10 months. I was just wondering if it was normal for the pups to look more flat, anyone know if they will eventually become more cylindrical? Or if it’s something am doing that is causing them to grow this way? Thanks :)

I’ve been wondering this too lol. I got a pup from my friend ages ago. Hers was cylindrical and mine was not. BUT it does seem to be getting more cylindrical as it grows more mature leaves. It’s been the slowest growing snake plant I’ve ever had though

I think I just learned that even though the mamma plant is cylindrical the babies will not be!! They will be the regular snake plant! Idk why it is but yeah! Someone correct me if I’m wrong!

Yes this is normal for the first leaves to be more flat. I suspect the next leaf you get will be round.
