Whenever it’s the right kind of light and pots for the cactuses

My understanding is that you generally want light coming from above.

Other than that, succulents \& cacti can grow in plastic containers, just make sure to water less often than you would in terracotta as they hold moisture longer.

Might I recommend YouTube as a better place to get a good beginners overview to general care for these plants? There’s a lot of resources there 💚🤗
