I need your help I bought myself a Birthday Present 🤭 I purchased a String of Hearts at an online website and this is what I got personally I don’t like the appearance and well it’s in a 2” pot terracotta. What can I do to make it look healthier. It looks a mess as if they ran out of plants and practically tie it together. And it’s not the case for the other plant I purchased. N’Joy Pothos

That is a pretty scrappy looking SoH 😬 They can be fussy but IMO the seller didn’t give you a great specimen to start with. I’m willing to bet its root system isn’t very big. If that’s the case, the soil in that size pot will stay wet too long for SoH. I would carefully de-pot it and set it up in shallow soil/sphagnum/perlite, moisten the medium, and keep it humid. I use things like deli cups or a plastic cup with plastic wrap over the top. The aim is to make a little greenhouse to try to encourage it to propagate

You are correct some of the vines barely have roots and I’m afraid to look what’s buried

added humidity will really help them root. i use lidded takeout containers but an upturned clear plastic bag or cup would be a bit more appropriate here. i hope you get another plant !

UPDATE  
They will send me another plant 🥰☺️🥹 I just received a reply back.

Update: this was what I could salvage and 2 out of 3 is starting to root very excited 🥰 the replacement will arrive Monday
