# I’m a younger teen and I’m VERY new to plants, but I’d really like to…

I’m a younger teen and I’m VERY new to plants, but I’d really like to own and take care of some but I don’t know what’s best for me to start with? I’m interested in succulents, cactuses, generally smaller potted plants and carnivorous plants and I’m willing to put in the time and effort to care for them! I don’t want to start taking care of one and it end up too difficult and it dies, I just don’t know what kind of plant(s) to start with.. any recommendations?

Spider plants or tradescantia plants are super easy!!

Hey! Im a teen as well ( I started at 14 and its been 3 years of collecting) and i found pothos’s, spider plants, rubber trees and many trailing plants were my easiest, i tried succulents when i was first starting out and made a lot of mistakes with lighting and watering, but after you’ve been caring for plants for a little bit its easier to tell what they’re saying to you, also we have the same name lol!!

I think haworthia (idk if that’s spelt correctly) is fairly easy I got mine a few years ago and it is still looking pretty healthy
