Hi! I have this barrel cactus I bought recently online it came with these white, dried up little arms. What are they and are they dead or alive? The plant is healthy and green. Thanks for any answers or advice in advance:)

Those are old flowers

Yes. And they will just wither up.

Thank you! The plant came with them all dried up so I never saw the fresh blooms. Never had a cactus like this before:)
