# My mom gave me this succulent garden that is out of control a little.…

My mom gave me this succulent garden that is out of control a little. Any recommendations on what to do with it? She bought it and forgot about it and so it's been sitting on its own for a while. I counted about 20-25 baby succulents. The two long ones are growing roots (i think?) out of the place they dropped their leaves

i’d start with repotting and separating them by species so you can meet their individual needs better. be sure to choose a well draining mix (60-80% grit) as succulents prefer to dry out quickly. the ones with lots of aerial roots you might choose to bury the stem a few inches deeper so those roots can grow more, or you could chop and propagate, and allow the bottom half of the stems to grow new leaves

thanks! i'm going out to get some small pots today! poor things are so overcrowded :(
