# Hello, just wanted to check and see if this guy is doing ok, I know…

Hello, just wanted to check and see if this guy is doing ok, I know some succulents/cactus can start to grow really long when in distress and just don’t know a lot about my false Christmas cactus. It is currently in a south(west) facing window in my office. It’s flowering which I think is a good sign. But I’d take any tips or recommendations on what to do to make the plant happier!

Which part concerns you? I don’t see any problems here. The top, red leaves seem to want to be lower, but I’m not familiar with this plant beyond seeing it for sale (everywhere right now lol).

Not really a concern, I’m just really new to owning and caring for plants so I’m nervous that I might be doing something wrong, and just want to make sure

Don’t move her until she stops flowering, remove spent flowers and she’ll look weak after flowering but don’t fertilize, just let her rest.
