# What should I do to help this poor guy out? 🌱 it recently lost one…

What should I do to help this poor guy out? 🌱 it recently lost one of its petals and I replanted it in the dirt. Hoping it’ll sprout some roots but it is not looking too well any tips?

Be sure to use a succulent potting mix that usually contains perlite or sand to increase drainage. Regular potting mix will hold water too long causing the roots to rot and leaves to drop.

I found out it is a paddle plant, a species of Kalachoe
