Hi everyone!

I am a fairly new plant beginner and I just picked up a “Flaming Katy” from the store and would love some recommendations on how to best take care of this succulent? If anyone has any watering, space/location and lighting suggestions- I would very much appreciate it!

Also, there is one leaf that looks like it is kind of dying. Not exactly sure on how to revive.

I recommend watering once a week

Put the plant in Planta and follow the watering schedule - my best advice for that. I just posted about South African succulents enjoying both sun and grow lights, and my Katy does well in either. I currently have her next to the window, but she was great in this spot, too. I’m not used to a succulent I have to prune, but I just did that ha.

I have a grow light on mine and close to a window, 6ft away. I’ve also had it in full sun alone and it does very well. It keeps blooming even though I read that it only blooms once and is a throwaway plant! Not true! Just keep it in the light and water when the leaves look a bit wrinkly.
