# Hi everyone! Idk what’s wrong with my thread agave!? I looked at it…

Hi everyone!

Idk what’s wrong with my thread agave!? I looked at it this morning and most of it was droopy and soft. I water it when it’s dry and it’s under a purple plant light.

Any suggestions?

I would almost want to start over with this one. Remove it from the soil check the roots and remove any yellowing mushy from it. Let it dry out a couple days and put it in a smaller pot with fresh succulent soil. Water sparingly and give it some good light. I think you can revive it with some TLC😊

Purple lights suck! I learned that lesson last year. If you can find a full spectrum light 💡 I use a clip lamp for critters and a grow bulb. It works great and it’s only about $20 for 2 on Amazon. So sorry for your loss 😥
