# Does anyone know specifically what type of aloe this is? It does not…

Does anyone know specifically what type of aloe this is? It does not get any white spots (like I see with what I consider “typical” aloe vera or very tall), does not get much taller than the second photo.  
Planta, Seek, and Picture This all just say “Aloe Vera”.

Yes! Did some more research after your comment.  
It’s Alworthia Pentagona ‘Black Gem’ which is apparently Aloe X Haworthia!
