# Wondering how I can rehab this little guy! I rescued him from a…

Wondering how I can rehab this little guy! I rescued him from a clearance rack at the grocery store, but he’s awfully leggy. I was thinking maybe I should cut him down like above the second level of leaves? (Are they called leaves on a succulent?)

I’d be grateful to hear what any experts say! Thanks!

It’s going to need a lot of work. I would unpot, remove as much soil as I can from roots. Cut above the first 2 leaves and repot that. Then cut the top small floret, and repot that next to the other. Wiggle the rest of the leaves off the stem and propagate those in the same pot. Wait about 4 days before you water. Also make sure your mix is VERY well draining. I like to do 50-50 soil- drainage material.
