# $3 Thrift store pot $6 for the diamond bits $4 Opuntia decumbens I…

$3 Thrift store pot  
$6 for the diamond bits  
$4 Opuntia decumbens

I made a mess of the bottom of that pot experimenting with each of the bits, but I proved (to myself, to the Internet) that I can use an old drill, not just a Dremel, for this type of biz. You really only need the one with the round end.

However, I had this species last year and could not figure out what it wanted. It’s supposed to be a crazy shrub that takes over a hill. Anyone else feel insulted when they read “a tough plant and not difficult to grow?”
