# I’m so freaking excited to find tiny buds on my Thanksgiving cactus!…

I’m so freaking excited to find tiny buds on my Thanksgiving cactus! I was given this plant in April as a baby. I started covering him every night a few weeks ago and it’s working. 😊

I started on September 25th, and I cover from 6pm until 8am. I’m going to continue until Thanksgiving unless I find out otherwise. I’ve never done this before. I have watched my grandma do it when I was a kid. But that was over 4 decades ago so I don’t remember much 😂

What do you use for fertilizer?

I have never fertilized them before. They seem to do fine without it.

Mine are blooming too but without any change in care.
