This has been a weird plant to grow. Despite any advice, I water it a couple of days after it starts to shrivel. I have also misted it………..which isn’t in any book. My turning point on “just water it” was based on a video of someone growing theirs hydroponically, which just did not compute.

The stems were white and pink until I exposed it to full sun a few months ago. They are kind of crisp, but didn’t seem to affect anything.

The yellow leaves could be from all that water, but they don’t seem to do any harm. They are more like platforms for however many new leaves they can hold.

I tried to propagate a clipping to no avail. Wouldn’t it be cool so see an ice plant growing out of a pile of garbage in a landfill? That’s my dream for all the discarded plant bits. Future inhabitants are going to flip when they see it.

Holy cow it has grown.

How long of you had it? Had mine almost a year now they are super slow growers… was able to propagate tho

A little less than a year. What sort of light (and temperature) do you give yours? I feel like this manic wrinkle watering needs to stop or I’m going to upset nature lol

I have 3 tiny 2” plants that I just can’t get rid of the wrinkles. I’m loosing hope for it. I have dried soaking them in seaweed water for about an hour and still nothing.

Along with my Baby Toes, this plant needs a sweet spot of light and heat that changes all the time lol

I legitimately almost cried when I saw the stems crisped up. Thing is, it otherwise looked so happy

They look great! I just realized it’s October, the month when the weird sucs show up. Time for a Home Depot marathon.
