most important factors in the care of ceropegia woodii (string of hearts) are well draining soil and a small pot since they have shallow delicate root systems. the soil i use for them is 80% drainage and 20% moisture-retention. i only water when the bottom leaves (closest to the soil) turn soft and more flexible. they also require a lot of light, especially the variegated form

Ok thank you. I am planning to do a big repot of all my plants once I have brought all their new pots so ill definitely change the soil then but for now I'll feel the leaves thanks! I have been feeling them but ones further down the strings about 6 inches down

Hi, sorry I had another question for you if you don't mind. Some of the leaves are more flexible but some aren't, could that be due to the roots being compromised?
