Helloo! I’m new to succulents. Does anyone know what’s going on, why do the leaves have cuts? The parts that cut off are missing and no where to be found. It’s a fairly new plant and looked healthy when i bought it about a month ago. Makes me wonder if there is a bird that likes eating the leaves or something. Thanks c:

Yes! Birds do eat succulents 😭 and it will keep coming back. I stuck some sticks all around the plant so the bird couldn’t stand on the pot. It worked 👍

Omg thank u so much. I didnt think birds actually liked eating those! Lol also, today one of my tiny succulent pots got knocked over, so now i have an idea of who the culprit is lol thanks!

Birds, squirrels, rodents, lizards and many other wildlife will eat them, usually for the water content.

Yeah, the hotter it is outside, the bigger the problem because I don’t think they are their first choice in water content 😂😅

I have a toad that loves my Golden Sedum! And he loves to lay in the pot beside her!

I think it’s probably slugs 🐌  
Sprinkle salt around on the ground or egg shells and see if that helps. Good luck 🍀
