# Hi! Rescued an aloe from a garage sale that has some bent and wilting…

Hi! Rescued an aloe from a garage sale that has some bent and wilting leaves …. I repotted w drainage and watered, and stuck under grow light. Any suggestions on helping this little guy? Should I cut the damaged leaves?

make sure the pot isn’t too big that can lead to root rot if you need to go to a smaller pot

I’m no expert, but here is my aloe plant. Be sure the soil dries out before adding more water and that it is in a nice sunny spot. Mine is directly in a south-facing plant window and loves it there. I’m not sure about cutting the leaves. I’d give them a chance to re-plump up with proper care. If that doesn’t happen, some of them might fall off, which is ok too.
