# Hi all Firstly is this a string of bananas? Planta informs me it is……

Hi all  
Firstly is this a string of bananas? Planta informs me it is… secondly it’s vines are quite sticky, presumed this is just how the plant is? I picked it up at my usual garden centre a couple days ago and it looks really healthy, however have just read something about possible mealy bugs? I can’t see anything on it but being a fairly new plant mumma I’ve never had pests before? TIA for any advice

Mealy bugs make themselves apparent they are whitish in color, this does appear to be a string of bananas
