# Just bought this 3” snake plant at Home Depot labeled Bella…

Just bought this 3” snake plant at Home Depot labeled Bella Sansevieria, they name everything small “Bella” at HD so I’m wondering what the actual species is. I see quite a few with cylindrical straight arms. Can anyone help identify?

I’m pretty sure the scientific name is Dracaena Stuckyi. I hope that helps. 😁

Unfortunately I can confirm it’s not that. It said on the tag it’s a type of Sansevieria. The closest I’ve found is Sansevieria cylindrica but i feel it doesn’t look exactly the same

So fun fact, sansevieria we’re recently reclassified as dracaena!! I’m not sure exactly the type, but it is both a Sansevieria and a Dracaena :)

Does that mean there’s no such thing as a Sansevieria any more or is Sansevieria just something more specific now?
