# Is this too big of a pot for this variegated Jade? I repotted it from…

Is this too big of a pot for this variegated Jade?  
I repotted it from an arrangement where almost all the succulents in there were suffering or about to suffer root rot.

I would say it’s too big. You only want the pot to be about an inch bigger than the root ball. That could go in a tiny pot or you risk the soil staying too wet and getting root rot.

I agree. Too big, especially for a succulent that shouldn’t be sitting in moisture for extended periods.
