You can usually still see them open in early morn hours when you wake. I have another variety of night blooming cactus. So magical! Only thing i know is you are supposed to fertilize when buds of flowers first start, then pause fertilization until after flowers have expired. Never during. Thats just in general for anything flowering. I was given one leaf. Now it has 5.
