Hi!I have this since spring and I love it. I don’t know what is called and how can I take a good care of this plant. Any suggestions?

it’s most likely some type of echeverría, it also looks very leggy and stretched. meaning its not getting enough light so it’s been stretching to find some. you can cut it at the base and it’ll grow again. you can propagate the part you cut off along with the leaves. best of luck 🤍

Hi there.

I agree with Nancy, it is a type of echeveria. What you’ve got there is a leggy hens \& chicks.

A friend of mine gave me hens and chicks cuttings, and they turned into what you have now hens and chicks like free-flowing water. I don’t like to be standing in it at all and lots of indirect sun. I mean lots of indirect sun.

Your plant is long because it’s not getting enough indirect sun.

The ease by which these hens and chicks propagate, depends on the moisture in the soil and the sunlight.

Yes, you can sever a long stalk and replanted in the same pot, and it should takeoff fine as long as it’s not water soaked soil the leaves are also very easy to propagate just let them fall in the apartment where they land. Hopefully you’ll get new ones on it. Also, I kind of think they like rough arid soil versus cactus succulent soil.

Ultimately I had my cuttings for two summers, they grew into small pots nicely before the entire colony collapsed.
