# Okay so I my sister gave me this plant like a a couple months ago and…

Okay so I my sister gave me this plant like a a couple months ago and I watered it maybe like 3 times in those months and now I actually wanna take care of it cuz it didn’t died 😭 so when/how do I go about repotting it? Does it need to be repotted? Idk if anyone could help that would be awesome

Use a towel/oven mitt to hold the cactus upside down and slide it out of the pot. If there are lots of visible roots you can repot it! Soil mixtures that are well draining are best for cacti.

They like being crowed in a pot, so I wouldn’t repot it until the plant has doubled in size at least. When you do repot, try to get a new pot that’s only slightly bigger than the current one. Good luck! I love these guys, they’re so cute ☺️
