My Mordor, who was the first cactus in my collection to bloom (May 2022) - and what a bloom. She is currently clumping like crazy, and the flowers didn’t happen this year due to everything going on in my personal life since May ha.

“Mordor” because there used to be what looks like a miniature gate. “Mordor” also because the pain from these spines makes you want to throw yourself into a volcano.

She needs a bigger pot.

Your precious.

If you like it so much, you should put a ring on it.

Frodo.

Okay, I’m done.

I saw these comments and had to walk away because I couldn’t think of the best Tolkien quote to respond with. Something about the invisible “elf warrior” taking out orcs - Sam’s finest moments.
