I brought this guy home the other day. From a big box… _Christine님이 2023-08-05에 게시함_ Hi there! I brought this guy home the other day. From a big box store. He was root bound and the soil was soaked. Repotted him up 2” into a gorgeous pot. It’s more bowl shaped though. Will he keep his upright look? Also, since he was soaked, I used new dry succulent soil. It looks great! Being root bound didn’t seem to hurt it. You may have bought it right after they watered it. It shows no indication of being overwatered. Probably won’t need watering if you kept the old wet soil around the root ball. You will need to water if all the soil was changed out or it feels dry. #### Christine님이 2023-08-05에 답변했습니다. There is nothing wrong with your new baby. If the largest leaf is bothering you, cut it and try your hand and growing new plants. You’ve got enough plant there to do a million and one experiments. Then it hit me- my kids are all grown and self sufficient so I have to have something to nurture. :) ### GardeNerd님이 2023-08-06에 댓글을 남겼어요. That makes sense! I realized that I needed some plant/dirt therapy. I’m a vegetable gardener on an extended hiatus. It has become almost like a compulsion, but I’m trying not to get to the point where my house looks like a botanical garden. My living room is pretty maxed out now. I wouldn’t have great places for many more and I tried a grow light for my fiddle and couldn’t stand it so figured out how to get him by the window. I tell ya which plants I’m failing with lol- herbs! Basil looks ok but the parsley, nah not for me .
