Anyone have any idea why my African Milk Plant has grown skinny and then got thicker again? Thanks in advance!

This is completely normal! This happens when the plant doesn’t grow for a while (winter) and then resumes growing again. I’m guessing the whole section above the thinner part is new growth. It’s a good sign that your plant has leaflets ☺️
