Nice looking plant! It might be misidentified. Check out euphorbia lactea.

I was gonna say… looks more like a euphorbia! Guess you will know for sure if it ever produces a flower!

If you’re really curious, prick it with a pin. If it bleeds white, it’s a euphorbia.
