# At one time I saw the living stones at my local Home Depot, but now…

_Publié par Melissa le 2023-07-19_

At one time I saw the living stones at my local Home Depot, but now that I want them I can’t find them. I go periodically to check to see if they have them. Well yesterday I found a couple of cacti that had broken off their main plant and were on the stand, which would end up being tossed away. So I did what any good plant mom would do. I rescued them but while moving the tray that other plants were in to get the one cactus, I found several more orphans. Now I have a bunch of cacti I hope will root, not to mention my greenhouse tray of seeds I planted. I may end up with a large family of cacti if the seeds actually grow too.

Chet approves this purchase. It is getting more difficult to find these. Just a theory, but I watched my neighbor kill two of them very quickly by watering and leaving them in a room with the blinds down. I “watched” it because I told her no more until she used the stool I left to get them into a window ha.

I’m seeing lots of living stones on Etsy if you’re still looking.
Cacti are so stylized and unique they’re hard not to get addicted to.
Handsome collection you have there!

Thank you. I plan to share them with friends once they are all flourishing.
