# So a few of the leaves fell off my little succulent when I bought it…

So a few of the leaves fell off my little succulent when I bought it and now it seems like there’s roots coming out of them mid stem! Should I trim those? My plant is otherwise healthy.

Those are perfectly normal! They’re called air roots. The plant produces those to get some extra nutrients from the air, sometimes due to not having enough in the soil. It's completely up to you if you trim them or not, the plant will be healthy either way!
