In lieu of my recent post involving my delight over cactus shadows, here is an example of why I initially missed the potty humor. I’m a curious artist with a head full of ideas that transfer over to whatever medium I’m working on. Since I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with the weirdness of shadows. They are so liquid and temperamental and beyond our control as far as predicting a shape. A shadow is never exactly the same. ANYWAY.

This Mother of Millions is a shadow machine.

Lol I guess I missed something. I get it. It’s lovely and I bet the photo doesn’t compare to that initial feeling you get in person.

Ha I had a recent decision to make about a big (columnar) plant, and ended up putting it indoors. I set up a REALLY bright grow light that projected a gigantic columnar shadow on my wall lol.

I have to agree, the way the shadows fall on the wall is very cool and fun to see. Gives a new design to your wall on a regular basis.
