Seeking a few tips, i have a few succulents that were getting rot so i cut and let them callous over to propagate them; however it’s been 2 weeks now and they’re not growing roots and they’re instead shriveling from the top toward the callous. I’ve seen water propagating and also plate propagating, i’m currently plate propagating but i’m getting no results.

Specifically i have a stalk of elephant bush and a few bear paws of varying sizes

Do you have a picture? That would be helpful. But in my experience I’ve tried to keep the soil more moist than I would for a mature, healthy succulent. One without roots that’s in the soil needs more water to encourage the roots to grow and reach out
