So my Ghost cactus has still been growing but it has this rot in the middle should I be worried?

I’m not an expert, but I would say cut it off to where the rotting began.. and have it grow back again

I would remove the section that is rotting, but don’t throw away the top part that isn’t rotted. Remove it from the rotting piece and propagate the healthy part. Put it in a small pot with soil, water throughly and let it sit. Water only when it’s completely dried out.

I would chop it just below where the rot starts. Keep the healthy piece, let it callus then repot and you’ll have a second plant!
