# can we pls take a second to appreciate my string of pearls..one of my…

can we pls take a second to appreciate my string of pearls..one of my first succulents and it sent me over the edge into the plant world. she’s defeated aphids..we took about a year and a half with those..she’s also defeated those little red mites..idk what they’re called i saw a few different names but she’s awesome and i love her so much 🥰and i finally got myself a variegated version and she’s doing so well too. my soul plant 🖤

Wow so long and beautiful!  
Are those red mites bad for plants? I see those all around my outside plants but didn’t realize they were harmful! Now i’m worried.

On crops such as sugar peas and beans, where pods are attacked, spider mites can cause direct damage. On ornamentals, mites are primarily an aesthetic concern, but they can kill plants if populations become very high on annual plants.

i knew it! i remembered reading something like this, after feeding they leave lil tiny brown spots. that was my issue, i thought those things were attracted to water i always see them by the pool
