# I am having trouble with this guy! The rest of my cacti are doing…

I am having trouble with this guy! The rest of my cacti are doing well and none are having this issue. Not sure what’s going wrong.  
I don’t over water (if anything maybe under water?) im in Florida 9B and it’s in the high 90s here.  
The flesh on this guy is very “floppy”. No rot that I can see, no “mush”, just soft and floppy. Input?

I water my cacti when they’re thirsty. If it’s hot and soil is dry you should water more. I’d guess it needs water. Hopefully it’ll park up when you do. My aloes do so when I water them.

Have you identified what type of cactus it is? Maybe that’s how they are? Some cactus go dormant during the summer and require very little water. Always err on the side of less water for cactus.
