Is anyone able to help ID this lil guy? Everything I find keeps saying Jade (I linked the plant) and I just want to know if that’s accurate?

It’s definitely a Jade ‘Sunset’ and it’s sick. Repot and gently adjust it to part sun or a grow light. Water when soil is dry 2 inches down into the pot. It’s wrinkled and soft- possibly root rot or overwatered. Hope that helps

Oh no, okay, thank you so much! It was just repotted recently in the last 2-3 weeks, and I waited until it was fully dry to water. I thought it was actually under-watered and that’s why it looked wrinkled :(

I’d gently free it from the pot and check the roots for rot. It may have been sick before you brought it home. Adjust its card profile to the Sunset; make sure the soil is well draining. I use the typical Cactus soil and add extra drainage- lava rock or perlite. I have a thin coverage of lava rocks at the bottom of my pot to help the roots dry up between waterings.

If you find no rot, but the soil is too dry, gently replace baby in the soil and give it a “from the bottom” watering. I tend to water mine from the bottom 9 out of 10 times. And use liquid fertilizer for succulents and cactuses. Here if I can help.

You’ve got this! I totally dumpster dove into research and have successfully rescued an unhappy succulent recently after having the baby for a year 😂 There is hope! Much luck for you and here if needed.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your advice! I believe it was like that when I got it, as they were wedding favors ordered off of a large box set from Amazon. I’m over here with a notepad relearning everything I thought I knew 😅

I totally get it! I learned a whole lot too! My collection kind of exploded this year 😂 I went from 4ish to 68 plus cuttings and propagating leaves 😂 You’ll do well!
