# I just bought three types of seeds: cactuses, lythops, and…

I just bought three types of seeds: cactuses, lythops, and succulents. I really don’t have much experience with growing anything from seed, and on top of that I’m just a beginner when it comes to these types of plants. Does anyone have any pointers for me about the type of potting mix to use, light, water, etc.? The instructions on the packets are just to “plant them and wait two weeks.” 🤔 I’d really appreciate some help! Thanks ahead of time! 💚

When you go on plants, you can add the plant and click settings, and select the soil type and it will say what is recommended.

getting the seed to germinate is different from caring for a more full grown succulant. Plants With Krystal on youtube has a short video or two on growing cacti from seeds

use a seed starting mix, water it once, and genuinely leave it for a week or two
