# Lots going on over here, including plants I forgot to add and put on…

Lots going on over here, including plants I forgot to add and put on a schedule oof.

Dark green is the new theme in cactus, and I’m super duper back on a mimicry vision. I even bought seeds - that aren’t Lithops, but that Micro Landscape Design shop sent seven baby Lithops, so there’s that. I believe I have near 30 of those at this point ack.

incredible collection! i’ve been meaning to get a couple lithops but im waiting for my local plant shop to get them in. Gorgeous cacti

Hey thanks so much! I will tell you a secret, which isn’t a secret, that learning about and immediately buying the first Lithops (two four-packs from Home Depot) I saw, is where my whole “plants rule, I want this to be my life” began. More when I went through an immediate “this is serious now” as I sat and waited through a scene like this one for months.

However…”I grew the toughest plant, I graduated” turned into figuring out that my specialized drainage and watering techniques for these, and I underwatered my cactus last summer. So now I bottom water. What a maze haha.

I totally get that!! Underwatering succulents has killed many in my home, but now i have gotten better about soil/water vs plant type. Now my cactus flourish. Any plant i get is a learning experience, and the fun part is learning what it likes. Hope to see more content 🤘🏼
