# Could anyone confirm what’s going on here? These are 2 of my…

Could anyone confirm what’s going on here?  
These are 2 of my propagations, the one on the left has very clear roots coming through, but the one on the right has what looks like one red root? Why is it red? Is it even a root? It wasn’t there a week ago🤣

Both are roots. Keep a little moister’ they don’t like to dry out for too long when starting out. Then after transplanting progress into dryer soil. So they don’t get leggy. Lots of sunlight but not direct if outdoors.

You can literally forget about them and they’ll root. I have them on the window sill behind the pots of some of my older succs..like they just fell off quietly and they just…root away lol they’re doing great! you’re doing great!
