# Can anyone tell me why this has happened to my succulent? Since…

Can anyone tell me why this has happened to my succulent? Since February it has dropped a bunch of leaves and they’ve gotten much wider. It’s in a west facing window because that’s the brightest in my room but I can move it to the south facing in the common area if needed.

Looks like she’s coming out of dormancy! I would remove the older leaves that look like they’re dying/dead. I’d recommend moving it into the south facing window now that it’s active.

It may turn pink/red and that’s okay, it’s a sort of “tan” they can get. And in just try not to touch the leaves as much as possible so the farina stays intact!

and then the usual schpeel try to water only when the soil is fully dried out and make sure the pot has drainage.
