I got a kit to start. I planted as instructed. I still have seeds left. Most of what i planted isnt taking yet. Should i change soil with my other seeds and try again?

In my experience, cacti took a weirdly long time to sprout (a few even decided to sprout a full year late when i reused the soil on something else). Go ahead and plant your extra seeds in more dirt (seed starter trays are easy to find at any store with plants), keep following care instructions, and just give them time
