# I’ve had this jade plant for a few months now and it’s been kinda…

I’ve had this jade plant for a few months now and it’s been kinda struggling the whole time. I changed the soil a few weeks ago and it’s been getting stronger but, I noticed the dark indents on the bottom pedal and I’m not sure what it is.

Not sure about the dark indents, but just want to add from my experience. The best soil is very gritty succulent mix. And I would suggest a smaller pot. Shallow terracotta is best because the jade root system is shallow. Your plant has nice sun stressed coloring which is a good sign.
