# Hi guys! I got this Christmas cactus from my mom about a month ago…

Hi guys! I got this Christmas cactus from my mom about a month ago that was from my grandpa.. any tips you guys recommend? Does it look okay? It sits in an east facing window and has a grow light as well. Idk if it’s too much light or not.. any help would be appreciated so I can keep this plant thriving so I can pass it down to my baby when he gets older!

It looks really good! I think the light is totally fine at that level, I’ve had mine in full sun before!

The only thing I would say is that the soil looks really wet! Maybe you just watered. I’d say just put it in quite an aroid substrate. Cactus mix works fine!

And let it completely dry out between waterings.
