Hi all! I got this today as it was on sale and needs a bit of TLC! Can anyone tell me what this is? Am I right in thinking it’s some sort of variegated snake plant? Thank you 🙏🏼

definitely a snake plant or dracaena trifasciata of some sort. the soil looks really dense, so in spring or if it’s warm where you live i’d suggest breaking away most of the coco coir very gently (even touching roots can damage them) and mixing it with some drainage amendments like perlite and pumice. small bark chips are helpful for succulents too

I think this might be a moonshine snake plant (Dracaena trifasciata ‘Moonshine’) or maybe a birds nest snake plant (Dracaena trifasciata ‘Hahnii’).

As the previous commenter mentioned, it might be a good idea to put this in a better substrate. I find soaking the coco coir really helps with removing it from the roots. Although it can make a considerable mess 😅

This is what came up on my plant finder. Good luck!
