I think it’s best to plant it now you can take the leaf off if you want to

I'd put it in soil. I either leave the leaf, or clip it off close to the new pup

Clip the dead leaf! It can grow mold and infect the plant!

I abandoned this, but it was really fun. I wish I had clipped the leaves after a certain point because, yeah, rotting leaves in my pots always ends in tears.

A bunch of the pups branched out and dropped roots. It’s so confusing and cool.

Yeah, I pull them out of from the middle of the plant…or with a Jade, I end up accidentally knocking them off lol.
