# What do you all use for soil? I always made my own with 1 part…

What do you all use for soil? I always made my own with 1 part potting soil and 2 parts perlite but Hyponex cactus and succulent soil was on sale so I bought some. I hate it. It doesn't drain well.

I swear by Espoma’s cactus and succulent mix if you’re looking for a premade mix. Never have to add extra perlite, it’s well draining, and it’s pretty reasonably priced where I live; about $7-9. Hope this helps!

I use Perfect Plants Succulent Soil and Bonsai Jack's Gritty Mix in a 1:1 ratio for my succulents and they all seem pretty happy with the mix
