# Hey babes, I have a elephant bush that is doing well but doesn’t seem…

Hey babes, I have a elephant bush that is doing well but doesn’t seem to be thickening her leafs keep falling off. She’s In a south facing window, she gets sunlight most of the day but it’s also filtered she isn’t directly in the window she sits on a stand in front of the window. I’ve had her for about 4 years or more. I am not sure why her leaves fall off but she’s on a pretty set watering schedule of about once a week - twice. I look at when she is dry, I know she’s similar to a jade plant so I’m not trying to over water her, but this happens a lot it seems and I’m worried about her. I’ve attached her to the post.. hopefully you can see her.

these tend to drop leaves when there’s too much or too little water. based on your once or twice a week schedule and this plastic pot, it’s likely due to overwatering, despite your best efforts.

for comparison, mine is right in a south facing window in a clay pot and i only water about every 10 days
